Most of the time, I eat unprocessed or minimally processed foods for all of my meals including my snacks. Occasionally, there are times I need something that is easy to grab and go.

Although some pre-packaged snacks have a reputation for being unhealthy, there are a few hidden gems that will satisfy your hunger without destroying your diet. All of these foods have reasonable amount of carbs and fats and are high in protein. As a bonus, many of these snacks are available in bulk (aside from Amazon). Continue reading to learn about my favorite healthy pre-packaged snacks.

Basically anything from Quest Nutrition

Honestly, I was not sure which one I like the best so I chose all of them. I have tried their protein bars, cookies, chips and shakes and do not have a negative thing to say about those products. The only thing I do not like is their pizza! I have not tried their protein powders or peanut butter cups. All of their products are available at Target and The Vitamin Shoppe. The protein bars are available in bulk at BJs.

Women’s Best Protein Bars

Women’s Best is a European brand that I learned about a few years ago through Gymshark athletes. I decided to try a few of their products and liked them. About two years ago, they released their own protein bars and I was HOOKED.

First of all, they are the perfect size. Not too big, not too small. Also, the flavors do not taste chalky and actually taste like the flavor on the package! My favorite flavor is Almond Coconut Crunch. I also use their protein powders and BCAA’s, which are also available at The Vitamin Shoppe and GNC. Click here for $10 off of your first purchase!

Fairlife Nutrition Plan Protein Shakes

I first learned about Fairlife’s protein shakes during my first competition prep and needed to get some extra protein for the day. We were looking for something in 7-Eleven and stumbled across their Core Power shakes and thought they were delicious.

A few months later, I saw the Nutrition Plan shakes at BJ’s one day and decided to try them out. Currently, they are available in chocolate and vanilla and think they are both delicious. My fiancé likes them also and takes them to work from time to time.

Tuna Pouches

Before I realized the power of tuna pouches, I thought they pointless and a rip off. Once again, I needed extra protein during my first competition prep and was scouring 7-Eleven for a solution. Then I remembered a bodybuilder’s secret travel weapon: tuna pouches.

I bought one and realized that I mistaken. Tuna pouches are so much better than canned tuna and come in tasty flavors. I like to stock up during supermarket sales and at BJ’s. They can be eaten alone or with sliced bread, crackers or a rice cake.

Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt

If I need a change from my typical plain yogurt, this is the one I reach for. It is flavored with stevia instead of sugar and tastes great without any extras. My favorite flavors are vanilla and strawberry. Since I do not eat this often, I purchase it from the supermarket. It is also available in bulk at BJ’s.
